CostFirst Corp. is looking for a highly motivated medical bill reviewer for our team. Candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience in workers’ compensation medical bill review. AAPC or AHIMA certificate preferred. IEA certificate or Certificate of Self Insurance a plus. Work from home.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform medical bill review and audits of workers’ compensation medical bills.

• Generate appropriate EORs.

• Review medical records.

• Develop authority for code corrections.

• Research out-of-state fee schedules.

  Skills:

• Knowledge of the California workers’ compensation fee schedules. Knowledge of

  other states’ fee schedules a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written skills.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Enjoy working within a team setting.
